6ams, reading and Netflix catch up

It’s been a while since I’ve managed to sit down and write a weekly catch up, hell it’s been a while since I’ve been able to sit down and do anything for myself. This week I have officially been awake before 6am, either for work starts or to head to the Lincolnshire Show to do on placement work. Needless to say I am feeling quite worn out and perhaps not quite myself today.

Finished reading:
Let me Lie, by Clare Mackintosh:

I don’t want to get to into this right now, because I have yet to write my review for it so my feelings are a little muddled. I’m really glad that I just sat down until I finished the book because I needed it to be resolved, and I wanted to finally finish my current read.

Next to read:
Crooked Kingdom, by Leigh Bardugo
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, by Taylor Jenkins Reid

I recently finished reading Six of Crows so I cannot wait to pick up the sequel, because I want to immerse myself back in Bardugo’s writing and the Grishaverse.
A lot of people have hyped up Evelyn Hugo so I can’t wait to finally read that and see what everyone has been talking about.

Netflix:

Any CAOS fans out there? I’ve finally finished watching the second season of Sabrina and I have a lot of emotions and feelings after the finale – I love the character development and the storyline. I may try and write a review soon to try and capture what I thought after watching it.

There are so many shows that I want to catch up on – Jessica Jones has just had its third and final season uploaded (cries), Peaky Blinders has been on my list forever, and I still need to watch originals like The Umbrella Academy, The Society and Sense 8.

All in all, it’s been a very slow reading time lately – both because of how busy I’ve been but also because I think I’m about to fall into a reading slump. I’m hoping that I’ll read a really magical book soon, that’ll inspire me to get reading more again.
