It’s been a long time!

This is my week update, little as it will probably be. Personally, it’s been a bit of an off week – anxiety speaking. It’s not that I’ve been anxious about anything that I’m aware of, my body just seemed to go into responsive mode where it didn’t want to do anything or leave the house. Luckily, I’m finding it easier to ignore that voice.
I’ve been going to my internship at Doddington Hall which is a fantastic experience for me, I love going there and learning all the PR tips that I’m getting. Otherwise, it’s just been a case of getting to work!

Reading

Finished Reading:

Crooked Kingdom, by Leigh Bardugo
I loved this more than words can say. You can read my review however, which I wrote straight away after I finished the last page – I just had so many feelings. It’s so refreshing to read something that deserves the love and hype that it gets given.

Next to Read:

The Hate U Give, by Angie Thomas
It’s like I’ve decided to finally read the books that have been given high ratings, but I haven’t read yet. Looking forward to starting this and see how emotional I’ll get.

Watching

The 100
I’ve just finished watching the fifth season, and I actually really enjoyed this one. Even though it’s hard to keep this kind of show going, and come up with new threats and ideas – it did really well and I can’t wait to have access to the new season.

Peaky Blinders
I’m in the second season at the moment, and it’s just so addictive – I can’t quite put my finger on what it is about it, but I just want to keep watching.

Blogging

It’s been a slow week for me in terms of blogging – I really wasn’t feeling well at the start of the week, and I just needed a break away from blogging and the pressures. I generally try not to set myself too many strict timings for my blog, but I needed reminding why I loved blogging, and why I do it.

  • Battersea Dogs & Cats Campaign

    June 25, 2020 by

I wanted to write about this campaign because I thought it was such an ingenious idea and it’s one of my favourite recent ones! The campaign started off by recognizing the issue that needed to be fixed – the fact that people were overloooking the need to rehome dogs and cats because they were too… Read more

Hello everyone! Last week was very quiet on here, so I thought I would start this week off with a good old book tag! I wasn’t tagged to do this, but below you’ll find the credits from where I found it and the original creator. I haven’t tagged anyone so feel free to give it… Read more

I haven’t done much reading this week, but I have been busy doing other things! I finished reading A Heart so Fierce and Broken by Brigid Kemmerer, and absolutely loved it. • Self-care Saturday

    June 13, 2020 by

Today I’ve decided to write about a conversation I had with a colleague, about what it means to be an introvert to me. I was a little bit disappointed with his reaction to what I had to say. For a little context: he was talking about how he recently got trained on the checkouts at… Read more

  1. We watched the final episode in the new the 100 season just last week, and OMG!!!! I need to know what happens next, they left it on such a cliff hanger..
Now I’m trying to get my bf addicted to the Walking Dead so I can continue watching it from where I left off (season 5 I think), so we are currently rewatching season 2.
