This should be my weekly wrap-up, but I believe it’s been quite a few weeks now since I posted. I’ve been away to Barcelona with my friend which was an absolutely amazing time away, travel post coming soon! I have also got many blog posts lined up, and I am ready to get back fully into the blogging community. University will be starting again in a few weeks and I am really excited to get back into learning, and get one step closer to my dream job.
In other news, I have finished my internship at Doddington, and had a truly amazing experience there. I learnt so many valuable skills and am so grateful that I got to spend my summer working there.
I also turned 21 and had one of the best summers I’ve had in a while, mentally speaking.
The Hate U Give, by Angie Thomas
This book blew my mind so much, and I don’t think I’ve ever cried so much over one story. I’m really struggling to write a review on it because I just have so many feelings, but I will finish it at some point. I just want to make sure I get it right.
Girls of Paper and Fire, by Natasha Ngan
Eve of Man, by Giovanna and Tom Fletcher
GoPaF is a buddy read with my friend so I am currently one chapter in, and very intrigued. I can’t wait to carry on reading.
Eve of Man is one that has been on my reading pile next to my bed for a very long time and I am finally picking it up to read. I’m really enjoying it so far, the writing can sometimes be a bit different to what I usually like, but the story is solid so far.
Brooklyn nine-nine (re-watch)
The aim was to have caught up on peaky blinders before the new season started, but I was unsuccessful in doing this. I have avoided spoilers though, so that’s good and I’m sure I’ll get to the new season soon.
Clearly I haven’t been blogging recently, but I have lots of posts to write and schedule so I am very excited about the future of my blog. So stay tuned for a return to my usual posting!
