I’m finally starting to get back into a good blogging (and general life) routine after my hiatus over the holidays. Last week I managed to get a few blog posts up, and I finished a couple of books while ticking off a netflix series I wanted to watch.
Last week I managed to put up two book reviews, and I was so happy to have got them up and done so quickly.
You can hear me gushing about that over on the review, but I absolutely loved it and thought the story-telling was better in this sequel. I can’t remember a time I have been this invested in the characters for ages, it meant that I could not put this down.
Oh my, what a book! I went through a whirlwind of emotions reading this, and I still don’t think I’m quite over it yet.
Daisy Jones and the Six, by Taylor Jenkins Reid
This has gotten so much hype and I’m so excited to finally be reading it. My friend bought me it for my birthday last year, knowing that I’d already read one of the author’s books and loved it.
You – Season Two
I actually really enjoyed this season, I did not see the twist coming at the end which made it so interesting to watch. I loved the side characters in this season, and the fact that they got given more of a focal point as well.
Need to watch:
- The Crown – Season Three
- Mindhunter – Season Two
- How to get away with murder
- Sabrina – when it comes out!
As said previously, I got two book reviews up which I was really pleased with! I also got my bullet journal post up which is something completely new that I’ve never done before, so if you haven’t already – please check it out!
I’m looking forward to making sure that I get some different styled blogs up, especially because that one was really well received!
General Life Update
I’ll be moving into my own home (well, renting off my Dad) soon and I cannot wait to decorate it in my own style – I’ve already bought some furniture and I’ve got many plans. Maybe somewhere down the line, I can show some before and after pictures and do a post about my process.
I’ve gone through a bad time personally, so I’ve been making sure I take time to see my friends and get out of the house as well. I’ve got a lovely day planned tomorrow with one of my friends, going to the cinema and shopping.
Until next time, personally Emma
