Last Week

January always goes by in such a blur, and last week was no exception to the rule! I felt like I was all over the place seeing friends before Uni started up again and getting ahead of schedule on work.

Reading

Currently Reading:

Daisy Jones and the Six, by Taylor Jenkins Reid
I am still reading this book, but I’m almost at the end now. It’s so good! I love how creative it is and enjoyable to read the narrative.

Watching:

I watched Little Women at the cinema last week, and I loved it so much! It was a great imagining of the classic, and the actors were picked so perfectly to fit the characters. You can read me gushing about the film here.

I’ve also been catching up with How to Get Away with Murder – which I love. Ironically, at the same time that I’ve started some law lessons so I’m totally saying it’s extra circular work to watch the show!

Any netflix recommendations out there?

Blogging:

This week I got a few blog posts up which I was happy about, obviously I’m gutted that I didn’t get a book review up – but I’m just not as quick at reading as I used to be! You can catch up on my recent blog posts below:

Circe, by Madeline Miller

My friend bought me this for Christmas, because she’d heard such good things about it and thought it sounded perfect for me. She was right! I love the whole aesthetic of the Greek gods and anything that has powerful women involved – so this story ticked so many boxes for me. I loved being introduced…
