The past couple of weeks I’ve really struggled blogging wise, because I’ve started back at University and it hasn’t been quite as easy going as I thought it would be – shocker. I’ll hopefully be implementing a new schedule soon so it should be running a lot smoother.
Daisy Jones and The Six, by Taylor Jenkins Reid
I really thoroughly enjoyed this, I thought the writing and narrative was so creative and it immersed me so much into the lives of the characters. If you haven’t read it yet, then I thoroughly recommend it!
Mathilda, by Mary Shelley
I picked this up at the bookshop I volunteer at because it sounded really interesting, and so far it has been really good. I love how deep and mysterious it is, and some of the dark themes running throughout.
You, by Caroline Kepnes
I started reading this today, because I have finished the series on Netflix and I’m intrigued as to how much is relevant and true to the book. I already love the narrative voice that runs through the chapters – although I suppose it is slightly ruined by the fact that I know what’s going to happen.
How to Get Away With Murder – season 5
I have always loved this show because of how dark and funny it can be. I really liked this season as well, even if it is just out of fondness to see all of my favourite characters once again!
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
I love this show! It has got such a dark vibe and the aesthetic in the way the scenes are laid out and the cinematography is just amazing. The acting is great in it as well, and I’m thoroughly enjoying the recent season.
I’m not going to do a blogging section, because as mentioned previously it has not been going well! But hopefully this month will give me the time I need to work on it again.
I’ve also been loving Selena Gomez’s new album which has really summed up all of the feelings I’ve been going through recently. I always love her work and albums, but this has got to be my favourite.
