Lockdown Netflix Binging

I’ve been using a lot of my time lately to catch up on shows that I’ve been meaning to watch, or just start some random ones that catch my eye! With working night shifts for the first time, I’m so tired all the time and it’s just great to sit back and watch something.

Impractical Jokers

I never used to like this show, I found it too cringey and I am not a fan of pranks at all. But recently, it’s been such a great relief from everything that’s going on – I haven’t laughed this much in so long. The four of them must be such great friends to be able to do these things and put up with each other, and I’m really enjoying watching some of the ridiculous things they have to do. I’m really addicted to the series at the moment because I’m just laughing the hardest I have in ages.

Criminal Minds

I kept forgetting that this was available on amazon prime, and I’m so glad that I started it. It’s such a contrast from watching impractical jokers, because the episodes are so dark and twisted. I occasionally have to take a break because the material can be quite hard to take. Apart from that though, I love the premise and the characters especially! Reid is probably my favourite, but it’s so hard to choose because every other episode focuses more intensely on someone else and I love getting some character development. I’m only on the third season currently, but I love crime series and anything to do with murders – it’s so thrilling to watch them try and figure it out, especially if you’re trying to figure it out at the same time.

Riverdale

I’ve been catching up on the recent season, not really because I’m enjoying it but it’s nice to have something on in the background. I mainly watch it now because I like to see just how much it can completely ruin the show with some ridiculous storyline. It is not disappointing! The series is just so far fetched and doesn’t seem to be about school kids at all anymore, but it gives me and my friends something to laugh about when we watch it.

What have you been watching during lockdown?

-Personally, Emma
